Two fellas arrived, the first being the "pest control" fella who was just there for ants, roaches, mice, etc., and which was just a "free" add-on along with the termite treatment. She started yelling, "I'm going to call (estimate person) and ball him out!" I was trying to explain it to her and mediate. The young fella was getting angry too! We reached an agreement and he did his thing, then the other guy arrived and did the termite treatment. I was waiting for her to explode on him also, but I managed to mediate with him and her. I was having near anxiety attack and had to lie down for a while before departing. My mother is so difficult and can be so hateful! She was also obsessing that none of the neighbors know she was having a termite treatment! I just said, "I don't care what neighbors think!" The last time I said that to her when I was in college, she whacked me over the head several times! Is it any wonder I don't like to go visit her!

Dottie, Pat and Maven...
It takes me a day of sleep to recover from being around her when she behaves like this. I took her to several stores near her home the other day, and she has offended all the cashiers in each of them when she checks out! If she sees one she's had an altercation with, she backs up and doesn't want to go thru the checkout line! even if no other cashier is on duty....She wasn't like this when we were growing up,my sis and I...God, I hope I never get like that!
