I am starting a global challenge today to find the most cutting-edge, finest, most valuable and life-changing modalities that are effective in an over-active amygdala and responding nervous system due to trauma.

Emotional regulation is the highest priority in any healing situation, where we need to get back to homeostasis and to ground hero. Back to ourselves, back to our hearts, back to our senses, back to our wisdom. When the amygdala is flayed wide open due to traumatic experiences, all of our happiness leaves us and we're left in a void of darkness, doom and fear.

So, fellow travelers, the challenge is on. How do we transform our brains to be receptive and calm in the face of the storm? We know of

EMDR
DBT
EFT
biofeedback
hypnosis

and?

Seek up,
Blue

ACT, better known as Acceptance Commitment Therapy is a great way to control anxiety. Here is the Wikipedia on the subject matter.

I have never heard of bio feedback but mediation has been scienfically proven to reduce anxiety even in situation where you would be terrified like in a cage with sharks. Personally, I like sound healing and even reiki. It's all good
