People were so friendly and social this morning. The sun shining. I was at the train station reading a book. This one guy came up to me now and then to say something. He wondered about my book. And such. He was really nice. And cute! In his mid-late 20's I think. A little young for me, but great to look at. Thought my day was going well...and then A fellow homeless person came and surprised me with a grocery bag of food! A turkey sandwich, couple bags of chips, 2 bananas, a bottle of Mountain Dew and a Diet Coke. It was all for me.

The funny thing is, whenever I run out of food, 90% of the time somebody surprises me with money to buy food or food itself. I had no food this morning. Sure enough, it came to me.

My doctor knows I have an eating disorder history and how much I would rather be 30 lbs less. I emailed him just the other day the eating must be a good thing?! ...Because it seemed that when I run out of food, somebody always gives me money to buy more--or actually gives me food. Bet he got a laugh. I'm glad. It's funny how this stuff happens. And to somebody who is trying to be good and do something she hates--eating! LOL Thought my day was going well...and then

The sad in today came while on my way to the library. I was walking past a church. Two people and a police officer were walking around the building. I assumed they must have found a broken window. It was more than that!

My prayers are with this church. Just steps later I saw my first horrible sight: on the church doors, written in human feces(!), the words "Hail Satan!" I couldn't believe my eyes! I am still so shocked over seeing that! Think my mind mumbled a prayer on its on right then. I walked toward the back of the building, right across the street from the library, and saw 3 broken windows. I didn't circle the building out of respect for their own immediate shock and dismay. I will need to walk by the other side of the building though on my way when I leave the library though. By then at least, the police should be gone and they will be able to go into recovery mode. First thing when I came online was to look up the church's website and email the senior pastor. How do these things happen?! Thought my day was going well...and then

I got a reply back from that pastor--another church was vandalized, too! Also some cars, possibly a restaurant, and they think more. I can't believe this. Thought my day was going well...and then Thought my day was going well...and then

I really cannot understand human behaviour sometimes.

Sorry you had to see this.

Try not to dwell on it. It is impossible to "understand" what is not reasonable . . .
