anyone here have experience with emitophobia?

my 13yo daughter is struggling and I'm looking for help for her and parental support for me

upon further investigation I HAVE seen this forum before. It is definitely more for people WITH emitophobia and no so much for those of us with a relative who has it. But thank you again for suggesting it.

Emetophobia seems fairly common for a 13-year-old girl. I say simply support your daughter unconditionally.

Emetophobia seems to be similar to panic disorder, so exposure therapy will likely help. This should be implemented gradually.

What the heck is emitophobia? It is related to the word emetic. Something causing someone to throw up?

Doesn't it go past that? Isn't it also a fear of seeing people vomit?
I had a friend see me vomit once and she was so afraid that she avoided me ever since.
