ANIMAL BAD NEWS FIRST SENTENCE.

a cat got up into my truck motor and the result wasn't good. that has never, ever happened to me and i thought i was going to pass out. what i had to do then, was devastating.

i am fostering a Himalayan kitten, til the rescue people come get it, and one of my dogs has gone completely berserk and has to stay in the bedroom all of the time...or out in the 100 degree heat. and the rescue woman is not reliable. she can't remember from one day to the next that they are going to come get it. and this is the BEST rescue agency, for Himalayans, in Texas. i'm going to do more research. ANYONE WANT A FULLBRED LITTLE BOY, JOHN BOY, HIMALAYAN KITTY? SWEETEST AND MOST AFFECTIONATE CAT THAT I'VE EVER KNOWN....i'll put a pic in the gallery.

another patient hit me. i have two goose eggs. (i had to have "the" talk with the husband....she needs more care than he and their caregiver can manage) i am quitting this work and going to the prison for the courtroom job. even if i have to wear that "commando outfit"....i don't care. if you work there, you're an officer of the law and you dress accordingly. picture it!!

the dogfighting neighbor lied to the landlord and said that Fayeroe "threatened" her. the slumlord immediately came and confronted me. you've all heard about fayedy for years....i don't let my dogs run out.....period. now that he "mouthed" off at me, he will pay for another section of front yard fence, as i am going to construct one more bamboo section.....that way, she CAN be in the frontyard with me, when i water and work out there.....i will take approximately $100 out of the rent this month. it is due the 15th!!

i saw the Pdoc and he upped my meds. says i'm doing great. oh, if that man only KNEW......and i am doing great on the meds.....but this week has just about wiped me out.

at least Thelma, Louise, Cagney and Lacey are on it! four eggs a day. anyone want fresh eggs...no antibiotics, no hormones.....28 eggs a week.

the dogs woke me up at 6:40 a.m. a man, from Catholic church, was mowing my yard. he had a weedeater and blower and my place looks like a different home. you can't see any of my yard from the church , i guess he "knew" that i needed help in that department. i went outside and we really got it done. all of the tomato plants and cucumber vines are gone now. they had quit producing and looked awful. it's amazing how much work two people can get done, laughing and talking.

the positive (PC) always outweighs the negative (except for one thing, in relationships) here at "brokedown hacienda".

Pat!
So sorry this all happened to you! I've had the cat in the truck engine one time, and it truly is traumatic! And fencing...tell me about it! I've also had much expense keeping my two dogs contained. The bamboo sounds pretty though! and wish I'd thought of that!
Wish I could buy some of your free range eggs!
Love
Patty

Hi Pat -- That is an overwhelming amount of negative stuff to process. Hugs and hugs and prayers. When are you taking your driving vacation?

When it rains it pours. Sorry you've got so much going on at once, but at least you have a nice lawn.

i just came in the door and he ran to greet me! this cat really deserves a wonderful family. he is stretched out, asleep, by my feet now......

thanks for the hugs and all. i have an appointment, T, Tuesday at 4....thank goodness...

plus Pdoc really talked to me this time and i talked to him. that's a first. this week at "brokedown hacienda" he is young enough to be my son. he was shocked and angry over what happened to my bank account......it was a good little visit. it helped my feelings about the stuff that has been happening here.....

What you have been going through at your new place sounds like quite some experiences. You haven't been there long enough for all that horrible stuff to hit you yet....& yet it has.

I pray that I never have a cat in the truck motor problem......I can't imagine handling something like that....I have a very very low yuck tollerance & can't handle things like that. I was having a hard enough time dealing with the really dead raccoon that Leo brought home to me.....can't imagine dealing with that.

Sounds like you have a nice group of people from the church to help you clean up the yard. That does feel great when someone just comes & does something without having to be asked. I know I got a call from my friend on Monday, telling me that he finished mowing my 2+ acres around the house & weed eated all the weeds that had been growing all the time I was there & it hadn't bubbled up to the top of my to do list before I left. I was in tears after he hung up, realizing how much people care & are willing to go out of their way to help.

At least you have that good to appreciate considering what that person did with your bank account. I know I have been very cautious with my accounts after what you went through.....that was a lesson for me too....added to the one I got from the trauma with my Mother. I am not ok with trusting anyone with financial information at all!!!!!!

It is good you have found a good pdoc.....I don't know what I am going to do about that, or my psychologist....or my pain specialist.....that is still up in the air, so I know what a relief it must be for you to have found one that you can talk to.

Fresh eggs are the best.....sounds like you have a really nice "brokedown" hacienda to live in even with all the hassles. Hope as you get more settled, that everything will quiet down.....but I know for me, keeping up with all the responsibilities by myself will probably be more than one person can really handle....but I know I am going to try just like you are doing......we can commiserate together in the things we need help getting done.

Sit back, breathe, & enjoy your soft hymilayan kitty until you find a good home for him.
Debbie
