I have sat at my computer all night and there is a fruit fly that has been bustin my chops all night.....flys in my face, then takes off for awhile. My hands hurt from clapping over it thinking I got the little *&**%%^ and then five minutes later it flys in my face again.

I will get him! (What a social life I have, huh? Sitting in my house fighting with a fruit fly The demise of the fruit fly )

I hate those little buggers!! I've been waging war on an invation that hit my house when I started picking the peaches off my tree and bringing them in. I swear they multiply even in the refrigerator! The demise of the fruit fly

Would you believe I've gone through 4 cans of Raid flying insect killer and I think I've finally got them all... I think! "Knock on wood!" Little suckers are hard to kill!

Stop hurting your hand and roll up a magazine and let him have it! The demise of the fruit fly

Life was good for the flower. No flies. Plenty of water. Nice people to talk with.

The tranquility came along. Had to mention it. Had to mention the despicable FF word and awake the dormant savages.

And now my world is tortured by the little #%@*%@!. Swat. Grr. Swish. Crap. Slap. Nothing.

I await the day we win this war and word goes out to all the little Fruit Flies...

Petunia you crack me up!! I have to say that I think I won. I kept thinking I missed it but it hasn't been flying in my face anymore.

Brother - and I'm careful about putting banana peels and such in wrapped bags in the garbage to avoid those buggers.

I wouldn't mind them so much except they try to fly in your eyes, up your nose (and believe me there is nothing good in there), or in your mouth.

Yuck!!!

Fruit flies are truly one of the evils of summer. I was sitting harmlessly at an AA meeting last night when bam one of the little suckers started buzzing my head - couldn't get rid of it and I felt like an idiot sitting there swatting about my head.
