"Just wanted to wish you and yors a very, happy, merry chr".... I don't know what happened this is what I was typing to my twin sister when I went to say I love u bye on instant messenger I wrote that.. I only like kinda of came to if u will towards the word christmas. It was like I didn't even see what I was typing or recognize it wasn't right or anything; which Ive actually noticed earlier I wrote to a friend and stuff was random in between what I was saying and I sent it without realizing all that I wrote that some didn't have anything to do with the conversation. Has this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions? I am on a lot of meds and have various diagnoses but was wondering what this was attributed to. I drink ocassionally but it's not directly after so I don't think the two are linked, and I don't drink with my meds cause it wouldn't be good to down my pills with alcohol. My meds are as follows: lithobid, lisinopril, atenelol, pepcid, seroquel, effexor, trilafon, artane, ortho novum, and most recently added valium (I was experiencing such events prior to taking the valium). My diagnoses are also as follows: borderline personality disorder, schizoaffective disorder bipolar type, chronic trauma syndrome, panic, and features of OCD. I thought this info might help; but anyway thanks for the support and advice as always, Danielle

Just got back from the ER they didn't find out anything. I talked to my pcp beforehand and she said it was breakthrough symptoms of schiz. She said to cut the valium in half but I agreed with the ER doc; he said I should stay with prescribed dose until my pdoc and pcp can talk. They gave me something for nausea which worked eventually. I threw up quite a bit before someone came and picked me up to bring me to the hospital. I was freaking out cause I was scared just kind of a nutcase I guess lol. My pcp said only to go to the er bc if I felt unsafe or just cause I was scared basically. I was thinking toxicity or something with all the meds. I'll have to talk to my pdoc next week and I have a presceduled appt with my pcp thursday. Hope I feel better in the morning. Thanks all. It's good to know someone cares. I'll write more later...

Take gentle care,

It sounds to me as though your mind was occupied by other thoughts, and that they were breaking into your consciousness. If this is "schizophrenia," so be it. A bad word for a real phenomenon, IMO.

well, alex, tell it the way we see it. i just didn't want to say that, but if i were you, evildouble, i'd get a second opinion on that drug list. i wouldn't be able to function with a drug cocktail like that.........i think you're lucky that vomiting is all you were doing............and one more thing, ER is good for physical symptoms, but don't take their word on Pmeds.....do see the real deal on those.....okay? good luck, pat

<font color="#000088">I'm glad you went to the ER and got checked out. But I have the same Diagnoses as you listed, other than the Borderline Personality Disorder, and I think that you are being over-medicated,IMO! I'm only on 2 Psych meds, Topamax, and Valium also! I'm not taking anything for the Schizoeffective Disorder, unless it becomes a problem. Then they will medicate me for it! I'm just dealing with the symptoms on my own, because I don't like taking too much medication! But I really do believe that it's possible that you could be over-medicated, or just overwhelmed with stress, making it hard to think straight!
I've had that happen with high anxiety levels, my mind goes off into it's own little world!
I hope you get feeling better soon! Anyone out there wanna help me out (Doc's included)? PLZ!

Thanks for the advice and encouragement all. The ER doc said to follow up with my pcp and pdoc so that's the plan for this week. My pdoc hopefully is in this week. Keeping my fingers crossed. I feel really emotional and pissed off bc no one can really show support right now except for you people on here. My Dad and stepmom are busy with their biz and can't just drive and stay wth me. My twin sister is bringing me to some appointments I couldn't schedule rides with the bus service for the disabled so she doesn't wanna come up now. My mom was further away last night so she ended up telling my sis to bring me to the hospital and I guess called her a self-centered ***** cause she said she'd do it bc she had no other choice. When I got their I had to insist that she come in with me but she's really being selfish I think or something cause her whole world is revovling around her fiance now husband who's in nc for the marines. Got off on a tangent.... sorry just wound up, feeling sick and like I need to sleep. But my house is trashed and should probly do something. Thanks, Danielle
