tomorrow is the day i have to sit and talk to the bank, my money sutiation is in there hands, if they say no i have only one day to stop payments and direct debits,

but on top if this we have had problems with daughters account card, it hasnt been working properly in some of the cash points and chip and pon machines so as i can sign on her account i went to the bank they thought the pin was blocked but it turned out the card is damaged so a new one has been ordered

sweetie I hear you. I'm so sorry you are in this situation, I completely understand, if the person who viewed our cottage on sundaydoesn't want to buy it we may be repossessed. We are struggling too. I hate that they throw money at you then turn their backs when you are struggling. we were fine til tony was made redundant - now no one wants to know or help.

call debtline - they are great - they helped us the most i'd say. Good luck, jinny xoxoxoxoxoxo

i went to bank they invited me into there office then said we dont deal with it here head office deals with that, and they wont make a decision untill they have recived a letter from the offical reciver , but she said its not there policy to keep custmers on and the only bank she knew of was nation wide,
so we went to vist them and have an appointment there tomorrow to open a basic account but they dont let you do direct debits from them

hmmm... that could have gone better to say the least. thats one of the reasons i hated dealing with banks so much. it was always someone else's responsibility. grrrrrrrrr. i guess the only up side is that nationwide willt ake you on and that you can use your daughter's account for the direct debits. you know though its almost as if you have to work harder to get bankruptcy than to stay in funds!!
hope things go well with the next bank and that everything settles down a bit after that.
good luck

good luck kathy,Iwill be thinking of you, we may be in that position soonalso if this cottage isn't sold quickly. my hubbies redundancy andmy illnessput paid to our comfortable lifestyle, now i tend not to worry and leave our fate in the hands of the gods, Iknow your childrenare a lot younger than ours and I feel for you. I really hope the nationwide help you, that's who we're with, we're suing them for charges at the moment so we're not in their good books, but we've been with them for 20 years and they've been very good up until recently.(since we've been struggling)

good luck, fingers crossed.jinny xoxoxoxoxoxo
