Is the world conspiring against me or what??

Ok, long long long story. Suffice it to say that today has sucked so far.
I am almost at the end of a long drawn out divorce. Been screwed left and right but I digress. See, one part of the agreement is that the EX will pay half of education costs if I enroll in a college this september. If I don't, I get nothing. So, I applied early last month to three different programs to cover my bases. Well, if there is one agency in the country that will screw you it's the provincial government. I sent an official copy of my highschool transcript with the application. I know I did because I have a receipt from the post office. Ok, so I've heard nothing so I thought I'd call them to check on the status of my application. They inform me this morning that they haven't received my transcript so the application has not been processed. I'm pissed. It turns out that the programs that I applied to are closed now. So, even if I resend the transcript, I can't get into these programs. THe damned ontario government lost my transcript and I'M getting screwed out of an education. I am angry, frustrated and feeling like nothing good is meant to be in my life. I'm asking myself why I keep trying when I keep getting slapped back down. I'm too old for this s--t.
I could drive down to Guelph, Ontario right now and beat the hell out of all of the OCAS personnel.

Sorry that happened to you. It isn't fair! Is there anyplace else where you can still apply? Is it possible to take classes without being matriculated? I'd ask the university if they can help come up with any ideas.

Check your options and see if there's another way around this. There's always a loophole somewhere. I have faith in you, you'll get this done. The world won't be deprived of the next great photographer

photographer??? didn't I tell you? I changed my mind,,,,,,,again! I'm going to be the next curator of the British Museum or Egyptian Antiquities Museum or some really cool central or south american Andean or Mayan conservation site. Heehee. Oh hell, I dunno what I'm going to be but I'm going to be something.

I'm still trying Rap. Going to give it my best shot before I roll over and die. I'm in a gutsy place and I'm smacking the world around a bit......hehe. Not sure how long it will last, but I'm takin advantage while I can.
