Well, I survived another day at my new job even though I called three hotlines before I got there!
I have so much understanding now for those who work while battling mental health issues. It is tough. Going back to work has been tough but the people I work with are so awesome. I would say they are "salt of the earth" as they work hard for every advantage and are not in any way a privileged minority. I found that the way to get coworkers to like you is simple. Work hard. Work as hard as everyone else...and then some. The job is good for me because it is fast-paced and gives me a "holiday" from depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation. Psych Central members are so wise. Everything everyone told me was true. I am getting used to the pressure...and even if it is hard I think work is healing. Thank you everyone. Happy New Year. Bless you all, dear ones. You are so compassionate and generous. Thank you for all your gifts of wisdom. I cannot express how much I appreciate you all.
