I feel...disassociated from myself. Like someone else is typing. It comes and goes, but when I read what I type, I feel distant from it, like I typed it, but they are someone else's words.
I've also got a massive headache. It's like the very top of my head is being compacted and squished and stabbed repeatedly. I've taken my meds so it's nothing to do with withdrawals. They aren't brain zaps. It's a sharp stabbing pain right near the crown of my head. Like some demon wants out. The pain comes and goes, but it gets worse whenever the disassociation and depression are at their worst and I'm trying to think. It's like I get angry and my head throbs in agony. What's going on with me?

I did some preliminary searching and checking of my symptoms, and took into account the recent illness of my kid brother (most likely a cold of some sort as he was very hoarse), and now think I'm coming down with something, possibly a cold. My dad is also coming down with a cold.
My body feels heavy and weak, my nose is slightly runny, and the area just below my ears is throbbing with severe pain, as is the crown of my head. I also took a look at the back of my throat with a flashlight and noticed some red spots and the like. I don't have any fever though. So, either I'm coming down with a severe cold, or possibly strep throat. I'm leaning toward it being viral rather than bacterial at this point, though only time will tell. It is the season after all.

Colds can do that. I'm glad you figured it out, though I'm sorry I didn't see your post until now. I know when I get really anxious, the same place on my head will feel that same way as how you described, though. Anxiety could've also had something to do with the pain in your head.

When I get sick, all my MH issues get turned up to 11. You might want to mention your headaches being tied to your depression, in my experience that is something new and I am no stranger to headaches or depression.
I have found that the more depressed I am the more I don't feel real and everything around me. I don't know if it is common but is certainly a symptom in my experience.

Uggg. My head hurts like crazy and I'm all tired....already took a 12 hour Alieve so there's nothing more I can do painkiller wise.
I'm going to try sleep again.....hopefully my stomach has settled a bit (kept on getting gassy last time I laid down). I'd do some relaxing things but it's super hard to relax when your head feels like it's in a vice grip.
