Basically something in your mind or at the back of your mind that bothers you and you can't explain what it is to someone. You don't even know what it is. But you know it's there. But if you could explain it then it wouldn't even be a problem.

Please help. This is for a friend.

Thank you so much!

I'm pretty confused as well. The problem is basically a thought in the back of the mind. But when my friend tries to examine it closer, the thought goes away.

It's quite strange...

Basically it is a thought at the back of her mind. But when she tries to look closer, the thought disappears. The thought bothers her everyday.

I meant if it causes any problems functioning in real life.
Other than that I have no idea... A therapist may help with that.

It causes her to suffer everyday because the thought bothers her. Which then causes self harm.

It could be some form of anxiety.
If it's self-harm, then she needs to see a counselor/therapist immediately
