I'm lost and I don't know what to do about it.I don't know if I can ever find myself cuz I've never really knew who that was.

I feel lost in life too. I may not be qualified to give advice on this topic but it is important to realize that you are not alone in this feeling. Also I think you should make a list of reasons (on paper or an electronic copy) of reasons why you feel lost. Once you identify why you feel lost, you can start to conquer this feeling. But conquering this feeling may take time.

Just realize that everything doesn't have to be perfect today. Just take life one day at a time. Don't rush life. Just hold on. Keep reaching out for help.

I wonder how old you are. I have felt this way throughout my life. It took on different ideas and meanings though depending on my life's stage. I am 50. When I was younger, the sense of loss was connected to pressure I ought to be doing something. In my 30s it seemed more to be a sense I didn't know what to do with myself. Now, at 50, I feel life has gone by and that I should have done something with myself.

My suggestion is to try and experience different things. Maybe an art class. Maybe a book club. Maybe volunteer work.

I feel a lot of people identify with your issue. I know I do. I suspect that's one of the reasons those personality tests found in popular magazines are so popular.
