i had some weird disturbing kinda scary dreams last night... even though i wanted to wake up out of them seems as though i couldnt... and one of the dreams was i was stuck in a school where there was some kinda maze thing.. and the freaks like from marylin mansons vidoes were in it.. like the ones that have nails in their hands and just weird stuff like that..... well they were coming after me and i had to find my way outside then id be ok... we i couldnt find my way cause everywhere i turned was another maze with theses monster freaks.... i tried to hit them and kick them but it was like i was paralyzed but not... .... the hits and kicks meant nothing to them... i finally got outside and there was this big round hole that was dug up and all the monsters was standing by it looking down..... .... then i woke up...... im scared to go back to sleep dontwant to have another crazy/bad fream like that...

when i have a disturbing dream like that, i get up and do something for an hour before going back to sleep. scary to do, i know. but it worked for me and i don't end up with a repeating dream that way. hope that works for you as well. if not, i guess, every individual is different. definitely a weird dream. i'm a weird dreamer, myself, although it's rarely disturbing.

Wierd dreams & nightmares......have had so many over the past 2 1/2 years. When they happen, I end up not going to sleep for fear I am going to have more. Just after arriving back in Ca, last month, I had a dream that I was trying to scream. I woke up or at least I thought I was awake, but I couldn't get the scream out. I don't even know what I was screaming about, but I was afraid of something. That has happened several times.

I hope you can get through this without getting to the point where you are just afraid to go to sleep at all so you can avoid wierd dreams.....that was when I had to take meds that would let me sleep such a deep sleep that I didn't have any dreams I could remember.

Take care of yourself....maybe turn on a radio or a talk TV station. I found that if I had a movie or something with a plot, sometimes even that would enter into my dreams. Just a thought that helped me.

i ended up going in the room with my b/f cause he was awake and then i stayed with him till i got tired again.. thanks everyone for the suggestion....
