Ever since a traumatic event I experienced a few years ago, I've been in this wave of depression. I slowly but surely lost all interest in anything and everything I like, and while I have improved some, I still don't have the motivation to do anything. Any tips to get back into old hobbies?

Have you seen a professional about this because often PTSD is misdiagnosed as depression. PTSD can develop "after" even a couple of years after a traumatic event.
Thanks for this!

Get a piece of paper and write down a few things you want to do. Then consider, what is holding you back? Is it advantageous to think and/or behave in such manner as what is doing so? What of these things can you challenge?
Thanks for this!
