I've just spoken to Altheia and received the very sad and worrying news about her having cancer in her thyroid. The lump is big on the inside of her neck.

I'm so sorry about the cancer. It's very frightening, to say the least. The good news is that thyroid cancer is the easiest type of cancer to treat. Maybe knowing that would help her feel a little better about her situation.

My spirits are low, my hopes are high... I wish something good would come my way. A couple of days ago, recieved the news that my mother is in stage four of renal failure. My plate is running over and over again.
Thank all of you for thinking of me and keeping me in your prayers and thoughts. I am very gratful. Altheia

You & your Mother are in my prayers. I know how hard it is to have your Mother that ill. My Mother died of stage IV vulvar cancer just 2 1/2 years ago (seems like just yesterday)...let alone when you are dealing with your own serious health issues. Debbie
