Hi - There's likely to be long breaks between my visits. School is becoming an obsession. The assignments are causing me great deals of anxiety. (Had to up the meds.) It's not having any feedback on how I'm doing in part. But I am enjoying classes in spite of everything. It is exciting.

I'm still thinking of you all.

Best of luck in school.

WinterRose,

You do know that the more we know, the more we don't know....that is what education is all about. It is a wonderful thing to keep the mind learning & growing.....this is a very good thing to be addicted to.

Just a point, when I went back to take some classes at the local junior college (I already have my BS), it was after my depression & horrible anxiety attacks started hitting. They actually had special help for getting me through the anxiety attacks with the tests. It was between the instructor & me (I the disabilities office...setting it up).....but it really helped me get through some of the stressful times. I was also allowed to bring in a tape recorder because of the stress of taking notes....& it was a note filled class.

Just thought you might like to know there is special help that no one else but you & the instructor needs to know about.

Debbie

Sounds familiar. My classes have gotten me thinking, and they help me to understand myself better too. But school can be stressful, and takes a lot of time. When my first class in graduate school started, they told us congratulations, and then asked what we were going to reduce or give up in our lives in order to have the time for school. Sometimes you end up sacrificing a hobby, or time with friends, or cutting back on work. Otherwise, you take it out of sleep time, and that catches up with you pretty fast. So, take care of yourself, make sure you understand your priorities, hang in there, and enjoy it!

Congrats on starting graduate school!

katheryn - thanks for the support.

kebsfroggie - I'll bring you all my pencils. I prefer them to pens.

Fuzzybear - thanks for the warm hugs

eskielover - I'm thinking about recording the next lecture I go to. Most of the work is intraspective and thinking about application of principles - so no right answers, but I do get afraid that even if an answer isn't wrong it might be too dumb or simple.

echoes - I do miss seeing you all in games and other places.

Rapunzel - Sometimes I think I have too much time for school and I over think. But it is starting to take more time. After last weekend, I'm looking at the information differently so it's taking longer to get through the reading.

Muffy - it's funny but I both enjoy it and worry about it at the same time. They say that their really isn't much difference between fear and excitement - physilogically they have the same symptoms. It's just our interpretation. I'll take care.

((((BIG HUGS TO EVERYONE))))
