I just quit my volunteer job. She said I can come back whenever I want, and that we will be in touch. But I have just been feeling so ******. I can't even think about moving out of my parents house right now. I have a UTI. I need to rest.

We all learn about our own limits at some point in our life, and we all have different stress thresholds.
Its good to learn about our limits so that we know how much stress we can deal with.

Have a good rest

Perhaps you need a break right now, and that's totally fine. Just get back out there when you are able.

It might be a good idea to get a paying job next time, so that you can save money to move out of your parent's place.

Give yourself a pat on the back for doing it at all. I believe in you. Best wishes.

My wife and I have been thinking about volunteering, but never seem to get around to doing it.

Props for getting out there and helping people. I think that the feeling of helping someone is like a high.

I agree you should try and find a paying job so you can move out. Being on your own can be a scary feeling, too. I think it would be good to save money and wait until you are mentally prepared to leave the nest.

It's good that you know your limits. Get some rest and see how you feel.
