After the crash of '08, we had to leave Florida to find work. Our cars had been reposessed, so when we got to Dallas, we only had public transportation to rely on. It's a lot better now than what it was, but it was hell going to and from my little part time job, as it was the only work I could find at the time.

Ok this is freaking wonderful...

I am so tired and overwhelmed that I wasn't paying attention tonight. I had $80 worth of groceries (most of it being canned goods and a few big jars and a big bag of cheese) which felt like over 30 pounds worth of stuff. I couldn't lug that around on the bus so I took an Uber home.

Anyways, I was so tired and out of it that I left my freaking phone inside of the Uber driver's car! Yay! Now I get to be more isolated because of these stupid buses! I hope they all burn for daring to piss me off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh that sucks. Sorry to hear that. Hopefully the driver finds and and returns it to you.

Sorry to hear that. But I have had a few friends who had their phones returned to them from Uber drivers. Not sure how they knew to be able to return it. But it is a common thing.

I hope so.

I need to go the store for my carrier and see if there is any way I can replace it. I knew that it had insurance on it so that might be possible. It just sucks that I'm going to have to skip classes to do this because it is impossible for me to make the time to go to my class, go to work for my 4 hour shift, and donate plasma today while dealing with the buses.

I blame these idiot buses for everything. I'm at the point to where I'm ready to leave my apartment a month early just to get out of here and get closer to my school so that I don't have to deal with this anymore. I am seriously going to punch a bus driver in the face today because I am so freaking pissed off.

Oh and I'm out of coffee. WONDERFULLLLLLL **** THEM ALL IN THEIR ASSHOLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will hopefully get a replacement phone in from insurance by Monday. I have to rely on my step father for this who lives 3 hours away since he has control of the account.

If not, I will just go without a phone until I get my money in 2 weeks, then I will buy a used LG V20 off eBay since the price on that phone has gone WAY down (as in under $300) and it's a phone I've wanted since it came out late last year.

One thing is certain though; I NEED to get moved out of where I am now. I can't deal with buses that much longer on top of everything else. I'm already falling behind on my homework because it is a struggle to motivate myself to do it at home when I am gone 11+ hours a day much of the week. Cutting the buses out would be the best thing I could possibly do for my mental health right now.

So yeah, I am looking into apartments. When I get my phone issue solved, I plan on calling up a couple of places and seeing about getting into one. At least cost of living here is cheap so I will be able to get an apartment in walking distance for around the same price as my current place costs or possibly even cheaper. I found one apartment that is $485 per month for a 1 bedroom 1 bath and it is a nice gated community.

So yeah, sorry about my outburst earlier. I got my head on straight now

I loved your rant about buses...Lol! It's so true! I would spend nearly as much time getting to and from my part time job as I did working my part time job.

On the other hand, I recently lived in a town with no buses, and when my truck broke down, I had to walk everywhere.....which suuuucks...jus' sayin'

Getting closer to school would be a very good idea. Transportation is a major stress for you and removing that from the mix would definitely make things easier for you. Hang in there!
