Free rice

This is for real, and sponsored by some large multinational companies. For every vocabulary word you get right, they will donate 10 grains of rice. The FAQs will tell you more.

This is one of the tougher vocabulary tests I've seen (the ones in Reader's Digest are really lame, btw) -- go educate yourself!

I stopped at 520 grains of rice. By the looks of things, it was just a bit over one bowl?

If it means anything, and I'm not sure what, I stayed at the "40" level. Candy, is that good?? improve your vocabulary and feed the hungry LOL

I was at 2000+ grains too, I think. It didn't occur to me that it would save my level -- sorry! improve your vocabulary and feed the hungry

I found it through the wonders of StumbleUpon , which I highly recommend, with the caveat that you shouldn't start it up if you don't have a lot of time to waste. improve your vocabulary and feed the hungry You can set it to find websites based on your interests, and then just keep clicking and it will turn up all sorts of cool things. If anybody remembers the old days with Netscape's Cool Site of the Day, it's kind of the same deal, to infinity. LOL

when I go there it starts me at the beginning, no level at all, just a dash. the level doesn't show until enough questions have been answered to begin calucating it seems. last time I answered 5 questions before a level was assigned.

anyway, it's fun improve your vocabulary and feed the hungry.

The highest level I got to was level 40, but mostly I think I stay in the low 30's.
