Crystals

Does anyone believe in the healing power of crystals? This summer a Navaho friend of mine took me to a crystal garden. it's on private property, as nature created it, not a touristy place at all.

One week later i had broken the spell of my depression. not all credit should go to the crystals.

another friend of mine described the crystals as all being "little people". I haven't looked at crystals or people the same since.

this may sound weird... my friend also gave me a dinosaur bone.. when i hold it i can feel more energy from it than i do the crystals... the crystals are geodes so the actual crystal lays on a stone except for those that have come free...

Wow kewl. I believe that God gave energy to all things, and we can draw on those energies.

i believe that God rocks!!! it must have been in the plan to put me there someday in that place...

At the Scout Ranch I went to this summer, there is the only dinosaur footprint in the country (a particular kind..and I forget which lol) it was so kewl. I couldn't get to the actual site, as I was in a wheelchair, but they have a molding of it in the gift shop... wow.

I didn't even think that it was legal to own a dinosaur bone without having some archeologist's license or something That is kewl.

not sure on the bone deal... it was a gift is about all i can say.. since he is Navaho he may be protected under tribal laws... not sure... didn't think to question

How big is that dinosaur bone? How does the person know it is not a wild animal instead (not that dinosaur's were tamed )

well... not being a scientist... i've been told dino's are the only animal that's been on the planet long enough to petrify... fits in the palm of a hand... about wrist size

Oh kewl. I went through the petrified forest when I was little and on vacation with family. Those are neat things.

As for other rocks and such with energy, my own totem (main one) is rose quartz. I don't carry it often enough.

that's neat... like to know a little more about totems myself... been sidetracked researching other spiritualities and symbols though... cool stuff... mandala's really caught my attention for some time now...

Amethyst really helps me connect to my psychic abilities...And rose quartz is great for a broken heart. Crystals rock. (No pun intended.) ;-P

I have a bloodstone. It is said this gemstone is for intense heaing and courage, I need both. I carry my bloodstone in my pocket on the days I have EMDR and hold it in my hand on m wat to the docs.

I also have a pink calcite (heart energy) which I carry in my pocket everyday.

If nothing else, they have a calming effect when I hold them.

can you describe what the energy feels like? for me it is like a tingling sometimes, at others an electric current... maybe it depends on my open-ness at the moment...

I can't say I feel energy the way you do. For me its more calming, supportive, courageous.
