Last night I knew that I would start my teaching/supervisory position today with inner city youth and I was terrified because I am social phobic. So the idea of having to spend 4 on and off speak to a class absolutely terrified. In fact I had resigned myself to the idea that I was not going to go in at all and eventually just quit this job. But I did it! I went to work and I taught a class more or less which is the first time in my life I have ever done that! I most admit something though I took my PRN Klonopin to help me get through it so I guess I kinda cheated but I don't care because I got out of bed, got dressed, and did what I had to do. So I am proud of myself for me it was a big step!

That us great news  Give yourself a big pat on the back!!I think that it is great that you faced this fear, though challanging for you, and did it and succeded This is a very big step and you made it, now the next time will be less difficult for you and each day I hope gets easier.I live in the inner city where I live and know that the youth need a good role model, and do hope you enjoy working with them and it continues to go well for you! i do not think you cheated, your doc prescribed it, it worked and in time you may not even need to use the med. I think you did great and I am very happy to hear that things worked out, I say "yay, SunshineGold03"
