thank you beth. unfortunately my phone got shut off right after I hung up with the guy. go figure. not sure when I can get it back on. *sigh* I won't get any kind of check until dec 3 at least. next is the cable. waaaaaaaaa

thank you everyone. I finally feel validated! people in my own family kept telling me there is a job I could do but they just don't see me on a day to day basis to see that there is nothing I can do. can't even clean my house. waaaaa

It's amazing the difference, being ignored or challenged in whether you are disabled or not...to being validated and compensated. It still won't be easy, but at least you have this for a foundation, and the income is always helpful. TC!

Congratulations!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for you. I got tied up working on my house for a few days, then crash, & miss the good news when it happens. Your post got buried by the time I got back here & didn't see it until just now. I knew you were going to get it....no question about it. It seems like they want to keep everyone is suspense & don't want anyone thinking it's easy to get disability (which it isn't). It's so aggrivating when we know that we deserve & qualify for disability. All our Dr's back us up but we have to FIGHT for what we deserve. Then everyone around us keeps saying....you aren't disabled..you can do this job or that job when they don't even know the reality of the situation. It's exhausting having to fight for everything that we deserve.....glad they finally came around for you. It's about time. Now you can breath a bit easier for sure. Debbie thank you hon. you are right! nothing changed from when I filed it back in 05! go figure! lol I just got older. my wc told me once I hit 50 they would give it to me lol.

I am so happy for you. Praise the Lord!! Enjoy !!! They sure took their time, didn't they? I was very , very fortunate.My case took 7 mo's. ,that was handled by a lawyer.

I filed a brand new claim in april this year. I think it went pretty good considering lol but thank you very much! it will sure help once it gets started!
