Many of you know my Grandmother recently passed away. The last couple weeks I have been creating a bit of a memorial. I blew vessels out of glass, put the plants from her funeral in them and hung them in my front window. Here is a pic and there are more pics in my photo album here on PC.

I'm sorry about your grandmother. Your glass plant vessels are a beautiful and thoughtful tribute to her (and are gorgeous as well).

How very unique and creative. I'm sure your grandmother is looking down with a smile on her face and pride in her heart.

You made a most beautiful tribute to your beloved Grandmother. Like Keb said, she is looking down with a smile and much pride! Everytime you look at them, tend to them, water them you are caring for your Grandmother. What a lovely way to show her your love and appreciation.

Such a nice tribute to your Grandmother. Did you say you blew these? As in glass blowing?

(((Depressme))))the glass vessels you blew and put the plants in are a beautiful memorial to your grandmother. I can see how proud she is of you and how lucky she is to have a granddaughter like you.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss, this is a beautiful memorial, the plants and vessels.
When my dad passed on we recieved a dracena, with 3 large stalks, over the 5 years it's grown so well and strong, I made more plants this summer from cuttings.
I think trees, plants and/or houseplants are wonderful ways to remember our loved ones.
Your grandmother is very proud to see what you are doing, though you may not see her, she's with you, always . . .
