I tend to shake a lot part of it is due to my mental illness, when I fell years ago I developed tremors ,It can get to be so bad at times I cannot even stand up to walk for fear of falling.Does anyone else suffer with the shakes?I do know sometimes the shaking can be so bad I cannot even write.I guess there is nothing you can really do about it.Unless anyone around here has any ideas.

Talk to your doctor there are meds to help. I'm restless from meds so I take another med to help.

I'm so glad the Inderol is helping. I have a slight tremor from having had Scarlett fever as a child and psych meds have made the tremor much worse. In fact, it's really a problem. The tremor became so severe on Latuda (which was a helpful med for me) that my pdoc took me off of it.

Have you asked about inderol it is good for a lot of things even anxieties?Sorry the latuda didnt help/My doctor did prescribe that for me but it would have cost me get this $1,000 dollars for 30 pills $4,000 without insurance I cant afford that.Meds are so darn expensive.

I have a tendency to shake. I do believe it was brought on by my med (the one I get every 21 days via injection). My APRN put me on Propranolol to help, but I still find that I shake. At least it's not all the time though. I think it comes about when I start to feel anxious.

I did feel shaky so I took one of the inderol .I develop bad tremors after I had the server fall.Even my shrink notices at times ,You should see the trouble I had getting it ,my regular doctor wouldnt give it to me unless I saw her,I keep telling them I am homebound and agoraphobic they say they understand if they did they wouldnt pressure me,.I finally got it from my shrink but only 20 mlg I am suppose to take 120 mlg he will give me so he says that amount when I come in to see him.Is inderol a controlled drug? They treat it like it is,

Thank you for the hug .
Yes, I was on Inderol and then Proponalol. Neither one stopped the tremor. So disappointing. Latuda did help me for a year, but the tremor became so bad my pdoc became concerned about TD.

I am so sorry that the inderol did not work for you.Is there anything the doctor can give you for the tremors?I hope so because the shakes are absolutely terrible at times.Do you have problems with standing and walking with them sometimes?I do and frankly it scares me to death.I have a terrible fear of falling..
Thanks for this!

Because of your encouragement, I will really press my pdoc to prescribe something that helps with the tremor. Thank you I do a lot of art work and the stupid tremor makes it difficult.

I don't think the tremor itself causes a problem with standing or walking, but meds in general definitely cause an uncomfortable and scary sensation of being out of balance...something like that. When I walk down stairs, for example, I hold the banister because I feel in danger of falling.
