It seems like I have a very bad habit when it comes to fantasies. I know everyone has fantasies, but mine are really different. I'll watch things on tv and immediately get hooked with the plot (romance, syfy, etc.) In my mind I'll somehow insert myself into the show or movie and act it out in my head usually imaging myself dating or in some type of relationship with the lead female character. I'll even google and look up details and characters to make it seem more realistic. I have anxiety so I want to know if this is this normal mentally or is it something apart of a mental condition I should be worried about?

I'm always changing my TV crush. Right now I'm mesmerized by Meghan Markle in suits resence on screen. What she does in real life is of no interest to me. I missed out on the show so luckily I've got Netflix..season 3 But yeah, we are shown beautiful flowers as kids. Could there be a connection? Like childhood films always had a babe you wanted to marry. I mean, what's the endless desire to have what we can't have. Funny thing is I just posted a rant on what's the first movie you watched in the cinema. How twisted are you though? Which one is more appealing to you (please don't feel pressured into answering) A. Mary her and live eternally in love. B. Capture her and keep her for your own personal interests with a hope of her developing stockholm syndrome. Keep in mind, neither are in her best interests... |

2ISAB, you are so candid you make me laugh.
Ken, perfectly normal, seems to me. |

And to satisfy her best interests, add: C. She captures you & keeps you for her best interests. Her victim apparently doesn't object. ![]() I'd go with that. And fan-fiction creators do this kind of thing all the time (in their FF). |

It's absolutely normal and very common. Many "healthy" people do this and it's extremely common for people with anxiety. It's way of escaping reality which might be both a healthy relaxation/hobby but if it's too much it can prevent you from living your own real life.
So it normal but depends on how much you do it (eg do you neglect your duties or relationships for the sake of Daydreaming?)

Totally normal. Now had you said you though it was real and not fantasy I might be a little concerned.
