I have to do a final project for my HTML class.

I have to design a 4 page website with graphics, color etc. She said sound would be cool also. Anyway the topic I have chosen is Aspergers Syndrome. This is something dear to my heart because my youngest nephew Coiin deals with it.

I know some of you also deal with it and if you would be willing I'd like to know what it is like for you to deal with it on a daily basis. What obstacles etc. This is not a published website. The only people that will see it will be my classmates and my instructor. It will be on my flashdrive only. I have no plans to put it on the internet. I will create it in Notepad and view it in Internet Explorer and that is as far as it will go.

If you are creative and have artwork about aspergers please could I have that too? I will credit you with any quotes, pictures etc. I can even send you a final product if you would like.

Please help me if you would like.

My husband has a possible diagnosis of Aspergers. I'm not sure if what I deal with in his case is definitely indicative of Aspergers or something else, though. Here are some of the traits that led 3 out his 5 doctors to suggest Aspergers:

- has trouble with eye contact
- talks (nonstop) in great detail about things that very few people care about (such as textile quality, bicycle physics, mechanical minute details)
- is seen as a little odd by friends and acquaintances (only, I never realized this until about a year ago. I think he's great)
- struggles in social settings

... he has a whole slew of other issues, such as time management, prioritization, anger management, anxiety, coping skills, avoidance. But the docs are chalking some of those things up to ADD and social anxiety as well, so I don't know where to draw the line between d(x)s.

Hope that helps get the ball rolling - I'm really no expert so I don't want to cause debate about what is/is not Asperger's.
