We've been working on a new service called Psych Central Answers:
http://answers.psychcentral.com/ It's a place where anyone can come on, ask any question they'd like (on mental health topics), and others respond (very similar, naturally, to Yahoo Answers). You can also vote on questions you like, as well as answers that seem to best answer the question asked. This is a more goal-directed service than the forums (where it's more of a discussion and emotional support area). The purpose of the Answers service is really to help people find information more quickly. So consider signing up for it and trying it out. I posted a test question so you can get an idea of what it's like. One note, however -- this service will be indexed by search engines, so you may want to register a different username than what you use on the forums if you have any privacy concerns. (That's why we didn't just use the default forum login to allow you to contribute over there.) Post any feedback or questions you have about the service to this thread... I appreciate it! Best, DocJohn

Docjohn, I can't get the edit to work. I needed to correct a reply, and immediately went to edit, but while I received a new window, it was for an additional reply, not to edit my old one. Is edit not enabled yet?
