I like the word "nut", not "crazy" or "psycho" or something like that but since ive started seeing about four doctors its really easy to feel like a nut. I'm OCD, and ADHD, and seventeen- so its really hard not to look at other people and not be envious anymore...but more recently I've seen my disorders as a part of me, they contribute to my being me, and even though i can be nutty or a nut that takes meds and goes to therapy. I'm glad I have something that I know about, know how to deal with most of the time and know how to use it to my advantage. Sounds like a stretch- or something a "nut" would say but who wouldnt want to be "normal" all the time anyway??

Hello Marst,
I know how you feel I just strated going to a psych doctor for meds and have put off going to a therapist I already feel nutty sometimes, but as you said that makes me , ME and I am happy to be me, I have been diagnosed Bi-polar and Post traumatic stress disorder so I am teetering upon one end and the other, But if you think about this I have my other half say this all the time " If the normal is what the world is which is considered the majority of the people outside of an asylum then is the normal in the asylum normal " ??? .... Makes me wonder !! LOL Just a thought.... We are all good people here and if we are here than we can't be all that " NUT'S " !!! troubled1

maybe so... i think they should rename this forum the peanut gallery then.

but yeah, i was once trying to explain to my family i'm not crazy---all of you are crazy to ME! haha...i cant imagine feeling or thinking any other way right now, and i definately feel sane even though thats not exactly what they tell me i seem to them. so yeah i feel nutty because of all the other labels
