Oh, Pink, so sorry. A high school girlfriend became a high school teacher and some other teacher at her school had a student put a candy bar in her gas tank. My girlfriend got a locking gas cap after that.

Any cameras or anything in/near the lot you were parked in?

must've been someone really strong or who had a long time to do all that GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I "hate" it when my car is keyed...but I drag out the model paint and use a toothpick and fill it in, buff it up.

That's a bummer too airway, I leave a note even though there's no damage...just letting them know (and maybe they'll park better next time? GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR)

No, it didn't happen in a parking lot-- it happened either right on my block or on a block close by-- I live in the city so it is rare that you get to park right in front of your own house.

Well, at least my car is distinctive now. Now when I go to the parking garage, if they say, "Which one is it?" I can say, "The one that says-- %#@&#! you, %#@&#!!!!" GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR It usually takes me about three minutes to find the humor in things. Even in a depression.

Pinksoil,

Your keyed car & my broken window in my truck (along with what was stolen). There is no excuse for that kind of damage to our auto's.

I can definitely feel your anger.......I'm sure it matches the anger I am feeling about mine. Silly, I feel bad that someone hurt my truck (a truck has no feelings......but it feels like it was hurt by what happened).

They repaired my window but didn't get all the glass out of the door, so now when I close the door, the glass rattles, leaving the rembembrance of the broken window still there....just like the keying. I hope you can get your car fixed to that it will no longer wear the scar.

Gentle hugz,
Debbie

Oh Pink. ..LOL. . .I'm sorry hon.

When I did my internship in NC, a client keyed my car with someone. He was 10, so I doubt he had keys, but still. And, he couldn't spell either. Instead of F you (insert nasty name for female body part here) it said, 'F you coont!"

I rolled for days. And then had the hood painted.

this one time i was driving through a parking lot and saw this guy backing up and the whole time i was thinking "you better stop or youre gonna hit that car" well wouldnt ya know it. he backed up, hit my friends truck, broke a taillight and took off! these kids were standing outside so i had them look at the license plate number and we called the cops. then like a week later i saw the same kid driving the same car pulling into a speedway so i called the cops and said hey.... this kid is right here.... arrest him now! and it turned out that it wasnt even his car! he took the car and hit someone's car with it! thats why he didnt stay cause he knew hed be caught. so not only did he get a hit and run but he was in possession of a stolen vehicle lol i gave myself a nice pat on the back for that.

Well, now you have to balance your checkbook, to see if you can afford to get the trunk painted.

Why don't you take your checkbook in to T and work on it together? I did that with my husband before we were married. I trusted him enough not to hurt me and he was wonderful, looked it all over carefully then said some really nice things before we even started (like that I wasn't spending more than I was making/able to pay back; I wasn't in debt) that I hadn't known. But his organization skills and quiet manner were just what I needed and the relief was unbelievable.

New type of "play" therapy; you can talk while you work.

LOL Gracey--

The person who keyed my car obviously didn't realize that a**hole is one word and instead they put it as two-- one word under the other!

I have had really bad luck with my car. In two and a half years, it has been vandelized four times.

One time keyed
One time a window shattered
One time my side view mirror ripped off
One time a break-in-- my factory installed CD player was ripped out of the dashboard, damages for that totaled $4,000.

Aside from this the car looks like total %#@&#!. It is a 2004 Hyundai Elantra that I bought brand new-- my very own car that I pay for each month. Now that I live in the city and on a very narrow street (the blocks in South Philly are so narrow that there is only enough room for cars to park on one side and then just enough froom for another car to drive down the block. People don't care-- they bump your car, scrape your car, whatever. I sent out my car payment every month, thinking... "For what!?"
