I mentioned before that I've been trying to get out a little, and going to that dance club on the weekends. Tonight was the first time I got up the nerve to head out on the dance floor.
I hadn't even taken any aspirin for the arthritis today. My knees feel pretty good today. Make no mistake though, they are going to punish me for this tomorrow ![]() MAN it was freaking hard for me to dance... I used to dance all the time, I've never been self conscious before, but I just couldn't get started. Dave, I'm looking forward to hearing all about you "shaking your groove thing" when you feel like talking about it a bit more. Remember, dancing is good for the soul.

Actually it involves stuff I've been trying to work on that was recently mentioned in another thread (about being self conscious) so when I get a chance I will post more about it.
Dancing may be good for the soul of the body but it wreaks havoc on the soles of the feet. ------------------------------------ --http://www.idexter.com

WTG Dave. The more you dance, the easier it gets.
I had to dance yesterday at a friend's wedding. I hardly go dancing - barely once a year, and if that. I felt I was moving, but another friend told me that i was almost as still as a statue. I managed to go through 2 songs before I left the dance floor. The only reason why I did dance was because the friend dragged me to the floor. Bet you're a better dancer than me. :O) |
