I used to try to get my husband to delay mowing the lawn because I like long grass. I like the way it waves in the air, and it looks really soft. He can't grow our lawn like I want, so he planted a "grass garden" for me in our back yard.

Unfortunately, with the borders it looks more like a cemetery plot, but it's beautiful to me - tall as it can be and filled with weeds.

It also makes for a nice bed for my huge Bernese Mountain Dog. When she'd come back into the house after sitting in my "garden," she smelled like sunshine and earth. what do you plant???........
