Hi, all..
I know 'tis the season, and people get together. I did accept one invitation for a party at a female teacher (coworker's) house. I went, though I didn't really feel like it, recluse that I am. There was a LOT of drinking, and acting stupid, and I didn't drink though I laughed my head off at these women saying stuff they never would in normal daily life. They were drinking this blue stuff...I think it's called "Hypnotique."
Anyway, I didn't go to the faculty dinner/party at Outback day before yesterday, and I guess people are seeing me as non-social. My principal asked me where I was!
Tonight is another party at another coworker's house. She asked me to come. I probably won't go.
Honestly, these things exhaust me.

((((((((((( seeker ))))))))))

Considering what you have gone through the past couple of months, I think it's unreasonable for anyone to think you would want to be in a "party" mood. I understand that getting out and about once in awhile is a good thing, but how many times do you want to go and watch people get ****faced and act stupid?? LOL Glad you got some good laughs at the other party though.....amazing what kind of animals we humans turn into with a few beverages in us eh? Christmas party invitations for me...the recluse

Do what you can, when you can. Don't feel guilty. Don't let anyone make you feel guilty. You are who you are and that is all that matters Christmas party invitations for me...the recluse
