Hi Friends,

A teenager crashed his vehicle in our frontyard this morning. It is fairly miraculous that he was not hurt, since it appears his vehicle became airborn to get over the ditch along the side of the road, and land on our lawn. He hit the light pole at the front edge of our property, and his air bag deployed.

All the emergency vehicles arrived fairly quickly considering we live outside of town by about seven miles.

He was not intoxicated or on drugs, just worried what his father would say. His mother arrived, and she was a very nice lady.

It's 57 degrees (F) here today, but a snowstorm is due here tomorrow.

That's all from the Prairie for now,

EJ

We're going to have a bit of rain on Sunday but it's supposed to be 57! I have a little trouble believing that since it's supposed to be like 45 tomorrow and 43 on Monday; how does that work?

Glad the accident was okay, just property damage. We had that happen once when we lived on a curvy hill, a teenager who'd just gotten their license tried to do the curvy too fast and took out our family car and was all upset.

Perna,

The road is straight by our house, but evidently the young man was looking around instead of keeping his eyes on the road. He was a very nice young fellow, and he was worried about what his father would say.

Perhaps this accident will cause him to be more cautious later on in his life. I'm so glad he wasn't hurt and that you are safe, too.

Btw, I really like your avatar! I love snowflakes, although I'm pretty sure you're sick of them by now. Car Crash in my Frontyard

Nowheretorun -

Those are stunning mountains!

We haven't had much snow so far -- just freezing rain and chilling, strong winds out of the north.
