EJ711: the blogger wasn't getting in the face of the person who exposed himself in a potentially harmful light. I still see it as more of an issue of self-harm. We all need to be careful about what and where we post on the internet. I would agree that we should all learn how to take certain precautions in the online environment however, we can only go so far. Much as we are responsible for ourselves we are also responsible for others. The individuals who posted that image and the link to that person's webpage--in my mind at least--are also bearers of responsibility:
Responsibility for Self <---> Responsibility for Other Respect for Other <---> Respect for Self
I think this can all be summed up quite nicely in the following quote, which was lifted in its entirety from the terms of use of the community where these events unfolded...

Quote: And one more reminder: This should go without saying, but remember the Golden Rule? In case you've forgotten, it's "Treat others as you would like to be treated." Or as Jesus put it, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Or in the words of Hillel, "What is hateful to do, do not to your fellow man." Muhammad's take? "Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you." And even Confucius say, "What you do not want others to do to you, do not do to others." We think those guys know what they're talking about.

At any rate, what's done is done.
