After much bumping around and discussion with my doctor, my surgery date has (finally) been settled. It's been shuffled around a few times, and now it's been shuffled forward again. Originally I was set for January 20th, which changed to the 15th, which soon enough turned into the 9th. Now, they've moved it up to the 2nd.

I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. On one side, I'll get it over with sooner, but on the other, it gives me less time to ready myself for surgery (me + medical things don't mix).

But, after a bunch of recent mess in my life, I'm actually pretty happy with myself this afternoon. I've got all my work done and I finally wrote a letter to my brother suggesting we leave each other alone (because I'm tired of fighting), and I'm finally gonna get this hand fixed, even if it's sooner then I planned. Maybe my mood will come crashing down later on, but I'm pretty happy today, which doesn't happen all that often.

And, to top it off, my boss just called 10 minutes ago and offered me some prime NHL tickets to see my favourite team play, as a congrats for all the hard work I've put in.

Anywhoo, the conclusion to this (slightly pointless) post is that once again I want to thank PC for everything, and a HUGE thanks to all you people in chat who have to endure me whining and ranting: I know I've been in a pretty bad mood lately with all my drama, so just wanted to inform you all that I'm feeling pretty good today and all you folks at PC are one of the reasons Surgery Date + Good News

Great news for you Ledgewood regarding your surgery and that you are feeling more confident with things going on with your brother. Take care and good day. Soidhonia
