Hey everyone,

What are your New Years resolutions?

Mine so far are going to be:

1) Write a novel
2) Start keeping a self-care journal & doing something for self-care
at least once every day.
3) Figure out how to put my spiritual beliefs into practice in my life to make them more concrete.

I think there is a thread on this in the Question of the Week? But, I had just thought of another item so I'll post it here New Years Resolutions

I plan to try and blog at least once a week!

(In addition to my other items on the other thread)

TC!

I plan to do more walking, less eating and to concentrate on my third novel which has been accepted for publication.
I also have a book of poems and a short story collection due out in 2008. So, I hope I can exercise, and work on my new books. -Greg

Get a job.
Stay sober.
Buy a concert grand pedal harp and learn to play it, once I find a job. I have the money saved up & it will be my reward to myself for having survived the past two years.
Treat myself better.
Keep my apartment cleaner since I deserve to have a nice place to live.

At 11:57 PM last night I made my resolution to make it to 2008. That way if I didn't complete my resolution, I wouldn't be too disappointed cause I really wouldn't be aware. But I figured it would be a pretty easy one to accomplish. And I did it! hahahahahaha

1. Become more involved in my life!

2. Go back to the "Curves" gym I joined a few years and still support financially even though I have not been there in almost a year New Years Resolutions (What do you call a person who joins a gym but does not go? Profit New Years Resolutions!

3. Mail packages in a timely fashion. (My almost 2 yr old out of town grandchild just recieve her "Twas the NIght Before Christmas" book today along with her Christmas pjs. I've had them since late November New Years Resolutions

4. Take the time to send cards for occasions or just to say hi! It is a real mood booster to me when I receive such a card. New Years Resolutions

5. Follow through.......do you see a pattern yet New Years Resolutions. Finish the things I start and do not procrastinate! This one will be very tough for me, because I am very indecisive and really do work best under pressure......although those around me are sure to suffer in the mean time. So it is for them, that I try this resolution.

I am sure there are more, but I think I am going to take this rare and appreciated time on my hands and......take a nap! New Years Resolutions

Take care everyone!
