and that is to get accepted in doctoral school. they are beginning to review the applications in january. i want this more than anything in the world.

Good wishes on this! How many have you applied to? What do you think your "chances" are, regarding the ones you choose and their ultimate requirements and the like?
 I hope you have a back up plan, so you are not totally crushed IF you aren't accepted this round, ok?

That is AWESOME!!!! I would do the happy dance, but I would probably scare older women, men and children...dun want that now do we??
