I don't know that it's a "monster" but it's been raining here like it hasn't in years.

One thing to remember, if you happen to think of me, I'm not in the burn area! Neither is my youngest son, this time. LOL

When I took Amber out for her walk last night, it was down to a small roar but the intersections inside the MHP were quite flooded. My power chair was able to navigate them. Wooooooooooohoooooooooooooo!!! I put my feet into the water and it was even greater then jumping into the puddles. The Monster Storm

We lost power for a bit yesterday but we aren't part of the "millions" who still don't have their power back. Ours came back on within a couple of hours.

The only problem I foresee is getting to my youngest's place for the baby's second birthday party. The ground out here in CA is rather unstable and slips and slides with just the mention of rain. The Monster Storm Maybe the parents will think of moving the party to Chuck E. Cheese? The Monster Storm

So... ya'll don't worry. Me and mine are fine! The Monster Storm

Ya'll be careful out that way. On the local news here they saying ya'll getting 70-80mph winds and lots of rain and flooding. Sounds like ya'll getting hit with a hurricane. We keeping ya'll in mind down here and hoping it passes over fast.

Yeah, I heard about the winds! It hasn't been blowing that hard here, although the rain IS wind driven! WOW! My porch is even wet and it's under quite a bit of awning! That's okay. It means my plants under the awning are getting watered, too. LOL Some of my more delicate, perky plants do look a bit beat down, though. The Monster Storm They'll survive, though.

Thanks for thinking of us, ya'll! The Monster Storm

I am so glad you are safe where you are. It is so scary seeing it on the news. Try and keep those plants from blowing away. Feet in the water can be so much fun.

Don't forget that the news media look for the worst spots to photograph and report on, too. It doesn't sell if it's not "dramatic". The Monster Storm

Whooo HOoooooo, the storms are awesome!! Haven't had one like this in forever!!! San Fran got HIT HARD...yesterday 675,000 without power, bridges closed, freeway accidents. Everyone that could left the City early. The winds were flying...we took a short drive adn so many trees had been ripped. I think it is almost over though...oh well. I can wait for the next one so that hopefully this slight wheeze is gone. Take care everyone!!! ~ Melanie

Why? Am I getting too big for them? The Monster Storm

We went shopping for our youngest grandson's birthday and everything was calm. Didn't see any damage, car accidents, etc. It didn't even rain while we were out.

They say we're due for some more rain tomorrow, though. It's gonna be fun driving to my youngest's place. There's a bad stretch of road between here and there. The Monster Storm

Bummer! Just rain, like us. I can do without the wind, though. The Monster Storm

Go right ahead and hope! Let me know if you get any distant rumblings. The Monster Storm
