I was so excited and so hopeful; but the research project I was hoping to be a part of was for Bipolar II, and having been previously undiagnosed, I had to do several hours of evaluations today...I now have an official diagnosis of Bipolar NOS. Whatever that means. Unfortunately I won't be part of the study, so my meds and therapy won't be free.
It's amazing no matter how hard I try to retrain my mind, the first thing that comes to mind when I'm turned down like this is to end things, but I'm a survivor; I just wish I could shut down these thoughts.
Anyway, so having an official diagnosis is useful, I will regroup and plan my next step from here. I am NOT giving up.
Thought I would update everyone. Thanks for all the support.
Blessings,
Jon

Jon, you are such a special and wonderful person, with a heart of gold. I am so glad you are not giving up, because I would miss you so much if you ever left us. You are a terrific part of my life, and I am so sorry this didn't work out for you. I know better things are coming your way, I'm know you have positive many things to look forward to.
