Gosh, i really feel for the poor girl.. its like no matter how sick she gets, her whole life is broadcast for everyone including all her negatives.

I know some people view her as she had it coming to her or just an actress but I think shes really suffering.

I agree. I hope she can find safe space and time for healing.

Oh I agree! She really is suffering. Poor Britney Spears I'm glad the latest psychiatrist arranged her transportation, evading the media. She's considered one of the richest around, and yet, she has nothing. (Well, maybe parents that love her, IDK how that relationship really is.)

I heard she is in a padded room now. Usually they are unclothed when put in one. Such distress! I hope they keep her safe, and help her get medications that will stablize her. I also hope she has a doctor who can help her cope with the notoriety she has.

But don't you realize that even our discussing her here, adds to the "problem" of her being in the news?

You know sky, i thought of that as soon as I had posted it.

But i do think its better that we look towards her with hope rather than nasty comments.

I agree. I feel for her whenever I see anything about her. She's just a rich and famous "one of us" ya know? While I know it only adds to it by us talking about it, at least there are some of out there talking about how sick she is and sympathizing and sending good thoughts her way.

I feel bad for her life being broadcasted, however, there is definately some tough love that needs to be dished out. What she NEEDS is not the same as what she wants, and it seems to me that she gets whatever she wants. Her kids NEED to live with someone stable, even if they are young, and she NEEDS to get serious help, even if she WANTS to keep her children, she is clearly not fit to raise them at the moment (seeing as how she can't even take care of herself right now).

So yes, I feel a bit for Brittany, but I think her children should come first.

I have always been amazed at all the attention given to Britney Spears. What/who is she, anyway? She's a singer who has been packaged and promoted to encourage young, I mean YOUNG!, gradeschool girls to dress and act sexy way beyond their age. This, no doubt, is due to the marketing encouraged and approved by her parents. Now, she is reaping the results of all of this.
Sorry to throw a wet blanket on the Britney pity party, but as a middle school teacher for the past 20 years, I've seen the effects of her publicity.
I do hope she gets help, though.

Yeah I definitely don't condone the image she portrays and how impressionable young girls are to her. I just see her as someone who is extremely mentally ill. There are plenty of female celebs portraying the sexy thing, and all the stars are mobbed by paparazzi and they aren't affected like this. I just see extreme mental illness and hope she gets the help she needs, regardless of if she wants it.

I sympathise for her too.

Definitely Pro Brittany here...I love her and always have, I'm a fan.

I don't think we know anything at all about Britney, just all the trash swirling around her. The latest psychotic, king of it all drugging thing by her "friend;" who knows what is true there and where Britney fits in with that.

That's true, since everything is on camera you don't know what's true and what is a PR spin. If she's ill I hope she gets the treatment she needs so that she can be a stable parent.

Even though I don't like the girl, I still wish to see her get on her two feet again.

According to court documents, Sam Lufti was drugging Ms. Spears, cut her phone lines, disabled her cars and told her mother "she will be dead and i will p***on her grave". He told the mother that he had been grinding up seroquel, and one other drug, to put in her food.

The parents have a restraining order on him now.

I feel sorry for her and not sorry for her parents. Dressing her up in clothes that were exposing her while letting her do dance numbers that were obviously "R" rated, is not the way to rear a child.

She may have the emotional maturity of someone 14 or 15. Emotional growth could be stunted by being manipulated and abused.

I am very glad that the children seem to be very safe.

i really feel bad for her, i am actually a fan of her and i feel with her.
her fanbase is the strongest fanbase i have ever seen for an artist, there is just something special with this young woman.
i hope someday she'll be fine and that she'll have the right people around her who really love her and support her.

Yes, since she was released yesterday there's a mad scramble by her parents (and they were where in her youth?) to get her estate:

I hope for poor Los Angeles' sake that the expensive to/from hospital stuff doesn't keep happening, that some judge sorts that out and starts arresting papparazzi that block the streets/traffic taking pictures, etc. Fine them to pay for the to/from hospital stuff?

I had been reading some things about her when the previous hospitalization occured in January. Is sounds as though she has had the highs & lows in her mental condition since she was a child....not really anything new. Sadly, she wasn't treated for the mental illness then...probably no one really thought that is was a serious problem & at that time, it probably didn't have an effect or her daily living at the time.

Now that she is in the eyes of the puplic & the papparazzi who only sensationalize what she is going through, her lack of ability to take care of herself & her children & function normally, is critical to her life & can no longer be covered up or ignored.

It seems from what I have read that her previous mental issues existed, but that also, having her children & the post-partum depression that wasn't recognized or treated has only increased the seriousness of her mental illness problems that already existed.

It is hard to accept that we have problems & sometimes we don't get help until it's forced on us. The hard part is that help that is forced on us isn't very accepted either. I just hope that sometime in the future, she understands what is going on with her & how much her children really need the love of her Mother.....but until she starts to care about herself, she can't care about anyone around her including her children.

Hopefully if this person who supposedly has been drugging her is forced out of her life, then that part of the picture can help clear up her drugged mind & the real problems will be able to be addressed. It is sad when our lives get that completely messed up before we start to do anything about it. When we are that wealthy, it is hard for family to try & force something to be done either because then it looks as if they are after the money & the estate rather than their welfare....until outsiders see there is a problem, it's a difficult situation to be in.

I hope she can get the help she needs & I pray that she will be open to the help that is available to her.
Debbie
