I have several people I have known since I was very young, but not as many as there used to be. LIfe's attrition takes its toll. I have one guy I know who grew up next to me, and he freaks me out. He is convinced his house is haunted. He talks about seeing an amorphous transparent blob hovering up in the corner of the ceiling.

Remember that my last job was doing medical research at a National Lab. I have seen some wild things in my time. But give me a break and stop eating mushrooms. He got mad at me last night. He called me at 1:34 a.m. and started.

He informed me of an object floating across the room, and he had witnesses. Two other people were there to see this. Of course, I went into science mode and told him that with all things being equal, the simplest explanation tended to be correct. He was like aha! So, you finally believe me?

I told him all that indicated to me was that all three of them had been on the same drugs. He got mad, but if all these incredible"Poltergeist" like activities are occurring. Why does no one ever think of picking up an iPad or using their cell phone to record it? He wants me to go to this house to "Investigate it."

I always give him a break with this nonsense as he grew up with the same stuff happening to him that he did to me. He will not see a Doctor and becomes offended if you mention mental health professionals. He lives at the base of the Smokey Mountains, a trip. I am not well enough for that. If I were able to go, what would I do? Deploy an Ouija Board I researched vaccines. I feel bad for him, but come on.
