There is some inappropriate behavior going on in my workplace. We're mostly self-employed people who just work there. I guess I should just ignore them. But I'm lonely and I want to talk sometimes.

I sometimes join in, but I always regret it. One man always talks about sex - constantly. He has been reprimanded for coming on to a coworker, who happened to be male. The guy who advances were made to - quit his job over it. The other guy stayed!

We have a very loose environment and it's an artsy place, but still...

I've been thinking and this man may have a sex addiction. It's a very real thing and I'll try to be more understanding.

It is good to be understanding... may be helpful for him and help you feel more comfortable. But don't let that translate into inappropriate or uncomfortable behavior toward you.

A comfortable work environment is a very important thing and I hope you can find some friends there.
