So I got this thing in the mail to be included in some Who's Who directory. Some sort of professional women's Honors Edition. Anyhow, I've only been in my field for a year or so...not really accomplished anything... and I get this letter. I remember in highschool I mentioned to my mom how all these people were listed in who's who registries and she was like oh don't worry about that, they pay for it. Anyhow that thought came to my mind today as I was opening this letter... add to it the notation at the bottom of the letter in fine print "Cambridge Who's Who is proudly not associated with any Who's Who Registry" WTF?!?!

No, don't mess with them; they're just trying to get you to buy the book; it's not exactly a scam, just kind of worthless and expensive. I use to get those all the time. "Everyone" is in there they can get to buy the book.

I'm not familiar with "Cambridge" Who's Who. I do know with the others that you have to be nominated by someone ...and it used to be someone Who was IN a Who's Who already.

not a total scam but for a high price they will put you in the book, watch them
