FYI

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick FYI-- I'm having some computer issues and am also in the process of applying to graduate school... so I haven't been online much and that isn't likely to change for about the next month. I havne't disappeared, and I'm not ignoring anyone. Just so pressed for time! And my home computer is down.

Quick update... I have been accepted at Colorado State University's counseling psych PhD program & will be going to their welcome weekend to check the place out weekend after next. I interviewed at Utah State University this weekend, and next weekend I'm interviewing in South Dakota. (In addition to working full time.... you can see why free time is scarce!)

Love you all still & looking forward to reconnecting....

Hey everyone! THANKS SO MUCH for your support! This is such an exciting and crazy time!! Just popping in very quickly to give you all an update. I got accepted at Utah State as well as Colorado State!! I interviewed at the U of South Dakota this weekend and will hear back from them in about 2 weeks... I'm still going to be scarce for another week or two.

Good question... right now I'm quite torn. There are many things to consider. How well their students do when applying for internship, how much money they're offering, cost of living, how I like the area the school's located in, match with my interests, opportunities for assistantships and training in specific theoretical orientations, atmosphere of the program, how much emphasis they place on research & clinical work respectively... etc!

I'm tied up in knots atm. But it's good to have some options!!

I'm all done applying. I've already been accepted to CSU in Fort Collins. I haven't made a decision about where I'm going yet... Thanks for the offer of info. If there's anything you'd like to share about your experience there, pls feel free to pm me.

I'm not a rodeo fan, though I grew up around them.

Then, what you're saying is if I keep watching I may figure out what's happening? And then maybe make something good happen.
