Early this morning when I went to bed, the snow was coming down lightly as it had been all day on & off.....but when I woke up at 8:30......everything is covered & the huge flakes were coming down......it's so beautiful. Even the road is covered with snow.

I thought that March had hit & the snow season was & we didnt get much. I never imagined that I would have snow like this here...I hoped, but never thought it would actually get this much snow......going out to take some pictures & play in the snow with my doggies......they love the snow as much as I do, well maybe.

Mommy doggie went out for her potty walk in the little snow we had last night & decided that she only wanted to stay on the front porch....& peed in the snow there. She was always my snow dog in Jackson Hole winters....but guess she's getting a bit old for all that cold stuff now. We used to go out in the back country & go cross country skiing with her & daddy doggie. I am going to definitely bring my cross country skiis here...hopefully next year will get this kind of snow..

I just can't believe how beautiful the snow makes everything look......yes, I know until it melts & gets all muddy.....but I will enjoy it NOW.

How strange, the weather has been impacting my plans with getting together with my friend.....first our plans were interrupted with an ice storm.....now the snow.....but I love just hanging around my farm.....maybe I'll bet ambitious & build a snow man.

I would love to take all the snow I could....but know the people around here would hate me for that.....I already got blamed for the drought I brought when I first came here......now wishing for winter weather....think this is all they will probably allow me....lol.

I was out playing with my doggies....they love running around in it & eating it.....they get snow covered noses.....I measured.....we have 4 inches....we may get a bit more throughout the day.....but probably not much more than an inch or so......but that's enough to make me happy & to keep everyone from blaming me for Too much weather.

It is amazing how beautiful the snow makes everything.....it's that perfect white blanket.

Am going to eat some breakfast & take the rest of the doggies out for their snow day...snow play.....I don't have children.....but my doggies have as much fun as children do it seems.

When I had my 2 rotties....it was always fun to watch them in the snow. Brother would run full bore into the snow and have a blast...Sister would tip toe out in it, very disgusted that she would have to get snow on her rump when she squatted....LOL

So far, we've had the second snowiest winter on record. We have no place else to put any snow if we get more. We've had roof cave ins from heavy snow and then rain on top of it all. Schools have had to evacuate and close in order to remove the snow. Businesses have had collapsed roofs....even a couple of Wal-Marts had to be closed for a couple of days. It's really kind of scary.

The piles of snow in our driveway are about 15ft high....we cannot see around them when pulling out into the street. And the roads...omg the roads are in horrible horrible shape with pot holes and dug up pavement that will swallow your vehicle. Many people have had damage done to their cars over this...and having to swerve to avoid the holes is dangerous as well.

On the bright side....the plow drivers have had a banner year and made money hand over fist. The ski areas have been booming from early in the season and will continue well into spring. But there is always that trade off ya know?

I am ready for spring.....bring it on!! It's SNOWING!!!!!!

The snow is great! It looks like I will be snowed in all weekend--that means I have the weekend all to myself! I hope it just keeps on snowing! I can use the alone time.

Debbie lol.. your so funny lol. I've seen it snow as late as late April up this way. So dont be surprised at seeing snow in March. Its really neat. We got some 2 -3 ft drifts here now. Close to my back door in fact. Should be fun getting in and out of the house to get to the garage. The danger right now is the blowing and drifting goin on across the roads. Be careful everyone!!!

I'm loving the snow. I live on the southern part of this storm just north of Nashville, Tenn., in south central Kentucky. This is the first snowfall of 3+ inches we have had in 5 years in my area. It's kind of weird how the snow tracked. We have 4 inches where I live, but 15 miles to the west in the next town they have 8 inches. Talked to my mom in Louisville this morning she had 9 inches at her place. I wish I was there so bad. They are all going sledding on the floodwall by her house today. I used to LOVE that when I was little.

I'm offering to ship to snow to anyone who wants it. We're on our second snowstorm this week, and it's on top of ice so trying to stop on the roads is brutal - hell driving is just generally brutal.

And some streets are so full of major potholes from the weather and the plows that they're really not safe to drive on.

But I'm glad for everyone who only has a little bit of snow and is enjoying it.

We had a ice storm earlier in the week, now we are snowed in. My counseling appointment got cancelled this morning. Everything is closed down. I had a foot of snow removed from my driveway at 9:00 am and now at 3:30 pm I have another foot of snow to be removed. It is still snowing. My golden retreiver can't move in the snow. When I open the door I have to sweep the snow outside or it falls into the house.

I can't wait for Spring.

The storm is over here. We ended up with 15 inches not included the drifts. We are still supposed to stay off the roads unless it's an emergency while they clean them up.
All you hear are snow blowers and shovels.

70 degrees sounds so nice. Enjoy!
