please help me! i want to start my family. i have anxiety and depression and have had no luck with the ssri's. my doc put me on 75mg of seroquel at bedtime and for the last 4 years it has been therapeutic. i know i have to stay on the med because i went off of it and really crashed hard.if you know any info or have any experienc with being pregnant on seroquel plkease respond to this note. it is such a new drug that there is little info out there on pregnancy except it is a cat C. thanks for any info you can give.

This is such an important issue that I think it really is best answered by your doctor, or find some other doctors to get their opinion. Also ask your pharmacist.
Any "anecdotal" evidence from someone taking the same med might not apply to you as your situation and health status might be different or simply because people react differently to same medication. Advice like this can be helpful if you are considering possible side effects and want to be "prepared" but not when the health of your child is in question, IMO at least. Good luck, and I hope you can find some confident answers and are able to proceed with your wishes or are able to find an alternative that might work, maybe another med that would be effective while you are pregnant if it turns out that seroquel is not a good idea...

thanks for the advice. my sister and father are both pharmacists, i am a nurse, and my doctors both psych, pcp, and ob say the risk of not out weigh the benefit of not taking seroquel. i just want some other layman's experiences to help me in my decision. thanks again
