Help!!!!

OMG I'm sooooooooooooo embarrased.....this is humiliating, please, bear with me....

I went to my old high school to visit my fave teacher...when it came time to go straight to work....the schoolbusses were blocking my way out!! I had to get to one job from 3:30-4:30 plus another from 5-9 and it was running late.....I thought well i'll just drive over the grass a little....i got stuck in mud in the middle of the schoolyard....they almost called the cops on me!!! for driving over the grass like that. they asked me to come aside to pay for the damages and what was i doing at the school who was i visiting and my name and info. a tow truck tried to get me out it got tuck too. then they wanted money for the time the tow truck took to get out itself. (school towtruck) then triple a came, said i was unserviceable. said my car would have to stay there. said i could call back if i wanted. so i did, they finally agreed to service me. there was some confusion about how my dad is a 40 year triple a member they said how could i be old enough to be a member for 40 years my dad bought me my triple a membership as a gift from his membership. that may habe been why they declared me unserviceable. i finally got out. late to both jobs had to go serve 60 people God I cannot wait till I'm a nurse.

Oh, my, what an adventure! You should write that up as a Murphy's Law illustration. Did any of the people at work laugh? Much better than "the dog ate my homework" :-)

Sorry it was so stressful for you.

have you ever got tuck in mud on property where you shouldn't be? I know it's embarassing and frustrating but you will be able to laugh about it eventually.

Case in point:

At my home in MO, I owned an acre of sloped land. Being a clean car nut, I put the car by the side of the house in early spring and washed it there. Then I tried to back it up to park it in the driveway. Because of the slope, I couldn't do it. I was on dirt, errr mud by that time and the front wheel drive couldn't push the car backwards up the slope and dug in, instead.

I called AAA and got towed out of my yard.

After they left, I realized that now the car was dirtier than it was before I washed it. Determined not to make the same mistake, I reparked the car in a different place and decided I would drive straight down across the property once done, and onto the side street. So, after getting the car all clean (again) I proceeded to drive down across the slope to the side street. Yep, you guessed it, the spring ground was still soft from the winter snows...and I dug into it deeper than before.

Yes, that was the day AAA had to tow me out of my own yard TWICE!

Hope this helps you not feel so alone. have you ever got tuck in mud on property where you shouldn't be?

Oh I'm sorry - what a horrible way to spend an afternoon. I got stuck in a snowbanck this winter and had to be towed out - it really pissed me off.

I hope someday you'll be able to look back on it as a funny story.

I was working and parked a car in a client's yard. It is where you were supposed to park. When I went out the car was up to the axles in mud. That was a day that there was a lot of flooding in other parts of the state. I was trying not to worry the client so I acted oh so independent. A passerby pulled me out and when I went in the house to wash my hands I came out and was buried again. The next one was a full pay tow! I learned about mud one day at work!

Hubby not me .....

Drove for over 500 miles was tired so pulled over to what in dark looked like a layby, had a sleep and then tried to drive off.

Er no .... Mud mud and more mud had him stuck fast ! He had no phone on him so waited till a police car drove past and they tried to tow him out but nope it wouldnt budge.

The police stopped a tractor and had that pull him out which worked but a month later we got a bill from the police for stopping them and asking for assitance !

I am sorry, the way you wrote it I thought you were seeing humor to mitigate the yucky feelings. I know you must have been embarrassed and angry x10. Be well.

I was out driving at 3am one night and tried driving up a hill in a campground located within the town, but it was icy and i got stuck near the top, so i tried backing up but couldnt see where i was going cuz everything was covered in snow and got caught up on some rocks. Called CAA and they called the cops on me cuz the campground is closed in the winter and supposedly i was 'tresspassing'. Fortunatly i never got in trouble from the cops but the tow truck refused to pull me out in the middle of the night so the cops ended up driving me home instead. lol
