I really don't know where to post this, but I saw someone elses life flash before my eyes today. My hubby has a motorcycle (kawasaki i beleive), and he followed me up to my tanning salon. We were going to leave and go grab a bite to eat, so I followed him (him on bike and me in the camaro) and we were waiting to turn out of the driveway. Another rider on a faster model bike saw my husband, and decided to get in the turn lane behind me. We turned, still with hubby in front, then me, then this dude. Then the guy gets in the left lane and decides to show off to my hubby, and floors it. His bike was quick, he was flying in less than 2 seconds. My husband just shakes his head, then boom it happens. Up ahead was a yellow light and the biker decided to go through it, and he was going so fast he didnt see the car turning into Kroger's parking lot. The biker t-bones the car, gets run over parcially, and his bike skids more than 2,500 feet up the road. I was in a state of shock. My husband and a bunch of people jump out of their cars to go check, and I said to hubby, "is he alive, tell he that idiot is alive". He was, he was out cold and snoring. Who knows what kind of internal damage he has though. Luckily there was a cop a couple of cars back and he heard the motorcycle rev up so he was about to go after him. Luckily 500 feet ahead was a fire station and police station, so at least he had his accident in the best place to get help immediatly. What an idiot. I am so glad my husband doesn't drive to impress, whats more impressive is someone who is a "model safety driver". . It was just shocking to me to have to see that.

It is stressful to witness such scary events. It is good for you to talk about it. It is amazing the silly things people do to impress others and in the process get themselves hurt.

it is good to talk about it, because sometimes it blurrs your mind for awhile even if you couldn't do anything about the dummy that got himself into such a mess, but even if you have no relation to the incident or the person, it still effects you.
