I heard he WASN'T the first man to become pregnant, but the first guy who was died. I just read this on the cover of the Enquirer, actually.

He's really not a man in Physical form...but is a woman.

He's Transgendered. Unhappy being a woman he took hormones to

become a man. Although still has reproductive organs intact.

Genetics play a huge role in this Also.....

I saw this couple's story on Oprah. They are very nice and sympathetic. He is very masculine, so it takes getting used to. But I'm very happy for this couple.

well now that i wathced the oprah show i dont think it is fair to say he is the first prego man because hes not really a man!

it would have been cooler if it was a man born a man but he had a uterus too

This gets rather political but if he identifies himself as a man, then that's good enough for me. Legally, he's been a man for 10 years anyway. If I were him, I'd be really pissed off to hear people say "he's not a man" after all he's been through.

Funny - we could each look at our lives and *ack* our teenage years and think how miserable and unhappy and misunderstood we are... but imagine feeling as though you were born into the wrong gender... and feeling SO strongly enough about it to decide to undergo a physical and social transformation as drastic as reassignment?

I have nothing but compassion for people who do that, and it makes me feel selfish to think of myself as 'misunderstood' when my problems were so petty in comparison.

I'm proud of him and his wife for being as brave as they are.

Actually he is a hermaphrodite ~ that is he was born with both male and female reproductive organs.

It is different than transgendered.
